We recently upgraded another 172R to the powerful Continental CD-155 Turbo Diesel Engine. Running on Diesel or Jet A1 both cheaper and more readily available alternatives to 100LL – these upgraded aircraft also benefit from a fuel burn that is up to 40% more efficient than comparable AVGAS engines. These savings can be yours and combined with better management of the engine, easier maintenance affording less down time, it offers significant savings to operators. Our team in Hamilton New Zealand has 10’s of thousands of hours servicing these Diesel engines and we are leader in the utilisation.
