Cessna 182 Katmai – Gorgeous 1979 182Q in excellent condition with Katmai conversion and many other mods.Formerly known as a Cessna 182Q, this 1979 plane has been transformed into a super-stol aircraft. I have gone above and beyond the Katmai STC to include many other STCs and modifications listed here. This plane is my first baby and I have given it the best possible care. I’m the third and longest time owner (16 years). It has always lived in dry country (California, Colorado and Idaho), with a one year stay in Virginia. It’s always been hangared and been flown regularly with regular maintenance. It has complete logs and I’ve kept nearly every receipt for all the work and mods completed since 2001. I’ve spared no expense in building my dream machine.

This 1979 182Q air frame has a Katmai Conversion, installed in 2001 by Peterson’s Performance Plus in El Dorado, KS. It has always been hangared and is in excellent condition with no damage or corrosion.
Engines / Mods / Prop
Engine:Continental IO470F33 fuel injected 260HP with good compressions and still running beautifully. It was installed as a factory reman in 2001 by Peterson’s Performance Plus and had a top overhaul done in 2005 by Western Skyways in Montrose, CO. It comes with Gamijectors, engine mount heat shields, Brackett Air Filter and an EZ Heat engine heater. Mags were replaced in 2015.
