SF Sports Cars offers this stunning 1969 Mustang Fastback for sale. The full resto-mod treatment has been given to this Candy Apple Red 1969 428 CJ Mustang. It was the recipient of ‘best in class’ and ‘best in show’ at the Restomods of Reno show in June 2014. RDW of Reno, NV gets the credit for the mechanical aspects of the build. Advanced Auto Body of Napa, CA painted the car.
The engine is a stock 428 Cobra Jet block modified to accept the following and a whole host of other modifications: Hi-po Scat steel crank, Steel Eagle rods, Forged JE pistons, 9.5:1 compression, Comp roller cam, Harland Sharp roller rockers, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum cylinder heads, Edelbrock Performer dual plane intake manifold, Holley Street Avenger 780 cfm 4-bbl carburetor, Cobra Jet Ram-Air hood scoop added, Dual exhaust w/ X-pipe, Flowmaster mufflers, Full MSD digital ignition and distributor, Billet Specialties serpentine pulley system, Canton Road Race extra capacity 7 qt oil pan, Melling high volume oil pump.
