Description

Enzo Ferrari once claimed that this V12-engined rarity was one of his favourite Ferraris, while the fact that John Lennon passed his driving test in a 330 GT 2+2 lends credence to the claim that this model was engineered to be easy and comfortable to drive. Styled by the legendary Pininfarina design house, this Series 1 example – identifiable by its distinctive twin-headlight arrangement – was launched at the 1964 Brussels motor show.

Stylish and sophisticated from any angle, Prindiville’s 330 GT 2+2 was manufactured in 1965 and is one of just 43 right-hand drive cars to be made. It has extremely low mileage and a comprehensive and fascinating history file to support that fact. It’s in gorgeous condition externally, while its smart interior has just enough patina to encourage you to go out and use the car on a regular basis. And whilst the four-seater 330 GT 2+2 is clearly a grand tourer in the traditional style, its 4.0-litre V12 engine produces a healthy 300bhp – enough to propel this chic coupe from standstill to 60mph in 6.3 seconds and push it on to a top speed of 150mph.

A very useable classic Ferrari that also has investment potential.
