Description

Winner of an America’s Most Beautiful Street Rod award and Street Rodder Magazine cover car, this multiple award-winning, show-quality 1940 Chevrolet coupe is a true piece of automotive art, built by craftsman Mike Keller of Big Creek Restoration.

With custom dash and gauges reminiscent of a Bulova wristwatch from the 1940s, this spectacular car rolls on an Art Morrison chassis with Currie 9-inch rear, equipped with 31-spline axles, with an Art Morrison four-link. Wilwood 13-inch disc brakes are on all four corners, with a Ride Tech bag system. Wheels are Foose Knight, 18×7 on front and 20×10 rear, shod in Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 225/45R18 and 295/40ZR20 rubber.

Complete with power windows, power steering, tilt wheel, and A/C courtesy of Vintage Air, this piece features a 376cid LS3 engine matched to a 4L80E transmission. Everything about this car is clean and uncluttered; most notably, in the engine compartment, which includes an aluminum radiator tucked under a custom cover that incorporates custom LS3 badging. The stainless steel headers and exhaust system are custom built, utilizing dual Flowmaster mufflers.

The extensive body modifications are blanketed in PPG Vibrance Cinnamon Candy over copper to add depth and richness to the finish. A two-tone caramel and butterscotch leather combination was used for headliner, door panels, custom rear bench, and front bucket seats. Audio is courtesy of an Audison stereo system, which includes several Hertz speakers placed throughout the interior.

A proven award-winner with appeal that simply cannot be duplicated for the asking price.
