1965 Superformance Mk III Cobra 427 SC

SF Sports Cars presents a Superformance Cobra 427 SC for sale with no expense spared throughout this build. Underhood is a 603hp/581lb-ft 427 cubic inch Windsor V8 assembled by TA Racing Engines. The Ford Racing block is filled with a Superlite 4340 forged steel crank spinning Eagle forged H-beam rods topped by forged Diamond pistons. A custom grind roller cam opens and closes the valves inside of the polished and ported Canfield aluminum heads via Crower solid lifters and Crane Gold roller rockers. The long block is finished off with a Canton oil pan and powder coated headers that breath through special low restriction side exit Cobrapack mufflers.
The engine inhales through 4 Weber 48 DCNF carburetors. Spark is handled by an MSD Digital 6+ ignition system. A heavy duty Tremec TKO 5-speed transmission has been assembled with a center force clutch and Lakewood scattershield. It sends power to the Dana 44 rear. The car rides on 17in PS Engineering wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires sized 275/40 up front and 335/40 in the rear.
The interior is fitted with Simpson belts, a Moto-Lita wooden steering wheel. The car also comes with 2 car covers, a spare Moto-Lita steering wheel, spare side pipes and maintenance history
