Detailed Description
This Husky is equipped with a Garmin G500 PFD/MFD system powered by the Garmin 430W and a 327 transponder. It is the most cost-effective IFR panel of all the combinations offered by Aviat for factory installation. The G500 package offers the most space for long-legged pilots of any Husky instrument panel, with almost 2 FULL INCHES of extra knee room under the prop and mixture controls. This is one of the very first Huskies to be delivered with the brand new digital Mid-Continent MD302 Standby Attitude Module (SAM), which takes the place of the 3 individual standby gauges from the top of the panel AND the standby attitude indicator battery previously located under the rear seat. It weighs only 1.6 lbs. For more information on the “SAM” go to flysam.com It’s equipped LED Landing/Taxi Lights, the new 80″ composite Hartzell “Trailblazer” prop- lightweight and high thrust- shortening the takeoff roll by over 100′ compared to the standard prop. We can advise you on the best tire combo for your particular situation- but the 26″ Goodyear Tundra’s and standard tailwheel are perfect for on- and medium off-airport use. It also features the MVP-50 All-in-one Engine Monitor system taking the place of the Electronics Instruments EDM-930. The MVP-50 features checklists, a weight & balance screen- literally more features than you will probably ever use. Also standard is the 2250 lb. GTOW (up from 2200 for the non-shock A-1Cs) giving this 180HP Husky a useful load of 850 lbs as-equipped.
