Maintenance

All maintenance is up to date.

Damage history; This airplane was nosed over on a sandbar near Galveston, Texas in 2011. The damage to the airframe included both A pillar tubes and the diagonal below the skylight.
The vertical stabilizer and rudder were also bent.

The repairs were done in accordance with AC 43 13-1B. Fixtures were used to re-establish the locations of the forward wing attach points.

The wings sustained damage to the leading edges and the leading edge skins were replaced as necessary,
as were the leading edge ribs. Both lift struts and main spar on the right side were bent and were replaced with new parts from Aviat.

The main strut on the left was also replaced as was all wing attach hardware. After repairs the wings were re-covered and painted with factory polyurethane paint.
The fuselage has original fabric and sheet metal and is in good condition.
